PAROS
Paros is the third largest island in Cyclades.
It has the privilege of being located at the center of Cyclades. Its port is a junction concerning boat itineraries which means it has
easy access to most ports throughout the year. Only 2.30 hours from Piraeus port by highspeed boat and 4.30 - 5 hours by conventional boat.
Its roads are the best in Cyclades, running around the island and accessing all the areas and beaches of the island. Finally, you can get connected
to the mains everywhere on the island!!!
SIGHTS
The historical monuments, the hundreds of little churches one finds in every corner of the island, Ekatontapyliani church which is 17 centuries old,
the ancient quarry whose marble has been used to make some of the most famous ancient monuments and statues, the valley of the butterflies,
the folklore museums as well as the natural beauty are some of the things that charm the visitor!!!
LIFE ON PAROS
In the summer Paros offers the chance to have a great time in various ways:
Swimming in one of the secluded beaches of the island or choosing the cosmopolitan atmosphere of the organized beaches with beach-bars one can
ind all around the island, eating or drinking an ouzo at one of the many taverns by the sea next to the fishing boats, relaxing while drinking
coffee and watchng the sunset at one of the cafes of the island, visiting the traditional fishing villages and last but not least, having fun at
one of the dozens clubs and bars the island is famous for.
Paros is equally interesting in winter. From October to March everything moves calmly and without stress. The Parian people are then busy with
fishing, stock-breeding and farming. The colours of the island change with the seasons. From the intensity of summer to the peace and quiet of
winter, perfect to relax, rest, go for walks to the mountain villages of the island, enjoy yourselves at the performances organized by the
cultural groups. The restaurants and taverns remain open in every village offering warmth and family atmosphere!!!
